Rigoletto

Every year, in May – June, the Alden Biesen Summer Opera vzw organizes an opera festival, with the primary aim of lowering barriers for the general public. Besides the main opera, they organize Summer opera performances for children. Summer opera brings creative, frehs and accessible performances where libretto, score and historical context fall together in perfect harmony.
Additionally they are offering a platform to young opera singers and musicians for a first stage experience or role, helping them to grow into a bigger and international career start.
To celebrate Verdi’s 200th anniversary, Summer Opera presents “Rigoletto”, a masterpiece full of drama and great melodies, with famous arias such as” La donna è mobile” and” Caro nome.”
