A brand new look for MSC

2012 MSC, Antwerp

Painting with Light was contacted by Architect Assocociates “Angst & D'Hoore” to design a lighting scheme for the MSC Home Terminal entrance building, close to the Antwerp Port docks.
The goal of the design was to create something functional but contemporary.
Long ledlines integrated into the floor and ceiling guide personnel past the security gates and toward the dressing rooms, while at the same time providing ambient lighting. A dash of colour was added with the inclusion of RGB leds tucked away in coves and built into the security office counter.
The ledline theme was also carried further by suspending ledlines over the security office counter and underneath the outdoor porch.
Painting with Light also assisted ITB-technics with the installation of the delicate led products and in getting the ledlines to work on the overall KNX control system.

Design: Rudi Angst, Architectenassociatie Angst & D’Hoore

Installation: TTB Technics/Painting with Light
